Lots more to come. The best surprise was when we pulled out all the sheet flooring and carpets upstairs we found bare pristine wide plank pine floors. Those that are painted look pretty easy to strip. Downstairs, we're not quite sure because the flooring choices are strange - painted tentest in the livingroom, vinyl sticky squares over chipboard in the diningroom. But, we have high hopes!

Kerry, I love it..you are going to love living in the country again. Did the kids have to change schools (Rob's question)? Keep the pictures coming.
No! The area school is *right* across the road - great small school outdoor classroom, school kitchen garden, HUGE playing fields and playground and tennis court and the community centre is run from there as well so great after school programming. And best of all (from my perspective) school lets out at 2pm) Wild Thing starts there in September. Nature Girl has one more year of elementary then will be starting jr high (which is at her current school in Wolfville) so we've arranged for her to stay at Wolfville for her last year of elementary, and she can get the bus there with the jr high kids right across the road. Darkmirror gets his bus to his high school right across the road too. Gaspereau School is a transportation hub so they can all walk over with Wild Thing in the morning and get their buses to school after dropping him off at his classroom. It's perfect.
