Spring has really sprung

Our favorite maple tree in the backyard is exploding with bright greenery!
My kids need to play with water every day, no rain? No problem we have buckets and a faucet!
Sprout has learned to turn on the hose. Oh dear.
He knows this is a big no no, can't you tell?

The fabric fairy visited our house!

We tumbled out of the house yesterday afternoon to garden and found three bags full of fabric remnants on the front step! I have an idea of who our benefactor was. Everyone has claimed their favorites already and I've been given orders on what to make.

We've decided I need a telephoto lens. These really are seals, there were 20-30 having lunch with us as the tide went out!

They've declared operation "Find Cottage Cove" a success.

We had more showings yesterday, AT DINNERTIME

What is a family of 6 to do? We got a pizza at Billy Bob's and headed to the beach (Evangeline) for a very brisk picnic. We still had a ton of time to kill so we drove up the mountain to check on how the snow was melting. Almost gone!

Out on the dykes...
