Ever read Paddle to the Sea? Its time to read it with Nature Girl, here's where a river empties into the Minas Basin, we arrived as the tide started pushing in. Wild Thing got soaked, hence his lack of pants. It was a wonderful afternoon though, when the tide really gets going it comes up the beach at a terrific pace - 10 ft a minute - great for kids with short attention spans!

We had to read it and watch the movie every year in elementary school! I've never met anyone who wasn't from Michigan or Ontario who had even heard of it!
