Photographing kids

Sprout mid yell...
Nature Girl and Sprout playing catch those toes....
Wild Thing being , well, wild.....
Me playing catch those toes....

I get plenty of nice smiling posed pictures from my kids and I never like them.  I much prefer the insane candid shots.

I think this swing set might well be the best 75.00 ever spent!

These are beautiful - if only had the talent - and the camera. Jehn's boyfriend does a great job though and my friend Sarah is great with the cation shots when she can get her hands on an SLR.

Willow has had a growth spurt - she goes in chub/sprout waves...

Sweet swing set!

Red, this camera is the best gift I've ever gotten (combo yule/40th birthday) and I have to thank the Sprout for decimating our old digital camera! I haven't been able to take pics like this since I was using a SLR film camera. And I can take 60 shots to cull down to 10 good ones which I could never afford before with a film camera!

I really wish I'd had this option when Darkmirror was little!

Krista - YES! He looks *just* like my younger brother - same honey blond hair and face, but with my loose curly hair and glasses. His eyes are still a toss up, they were blue for the longest time (so were mine) and now they're green like his dad's, but I'm watching Nature Girl get more yellow in her green eyes now and I think hers will end up like my very light green hazel eyes (Darkmirror has the same changeable witch eyes too - depending on the light and mood they can be yellow green, olive green, or topaz)

His personality is verymuch like I was as a kid according to my mom too. I have to post some pics of me when I was little so people can compare us. I find it really neat how much my kids all look the same but Darkmirror very clearly looks like his dad and Wild Thing like me but they still look very clearly like dark and light brothers.
